Carbofuran is a broad spectrum insecticide and nematocidal agent, which has the effects of contact and stomach toxicity. It binds irreversibly to cholinesterase and is therefore highly toxic. It can be absorbed by plant roots and transported to plant organs, most of which are leaf margin. The residual effect period of soil application is long, while the residual effect period of spraying on paddy surface is short.

Application scope： Applicable to rice, cotton, tobacco, soybean and other crops on the control of a variety of pests, can also be used as a special seed treatment agent.

Method of application

1. Prevention and Control of rice pests The following methods can be used to prevent and control rice borer, rice planthopper, rice thrips, rice leafhoppers and rice gall midges:

(1) 2.5-3kg 3% granules per mu were applied in root zone before sowing or transplanting.

(2) Apply on water surface, use 1.5-2kg 3% granules per mu, mix with 15-20kg fine soil, and evenly spread on water surface.

(3) Seeding ditch application. In upland rice growing areas, 3% granules were applied into seeding ditch at the same time, and the dosage per mu was 2.0-2.5kg.

2. Cotton pest control control cotton aphid, thrips, tiger and nematodes, according to local conditions, can choose the following methods.

(1) The seeding ditch was applied with 1.5-2kg 3% granules per mu.

(2) Root side application, ditch application of 3% granules 2 to 3kg per mu, 10 to 15cm from cotton plant, depth of 5 to 10cm. It is appropriate to apply 3% granules 0.5-1g per point.

4. The control of sugarcane pests is effective against cane borer, needle worm, thrips of sugarcane, and nematodes of sugarcane. Soil application method can be used for all of them, with 3% granules 2.2-4.4kg per mu.
